Idea for snowman card

I found this wonderful snowman paperdoll and thought it would make a fun winter card for my twin nieces down in Texas. I found the snowman at a really great site:

It was really fun to make. I didn't use all the clothes as the twins are only four but there are more clothes on the site. The snowman on the front of the card says, "Oh dear me, I am so cold. (Name of child) can you help me get warm, please." Or something like that.

Hi Mary Ann,
I sure have problems posting my pictures! LOL
I posted this thread over at the crafts gallery so you can see it. I used Picture It Publisher to make it. It was really fun to make and extremely easy. Thanks for trying to look,

Honestly, I am not sure I would make a point of mentioning it. A simple "Happy Holidays from our Home to Yours!Ã¢ÂÂ (which connects to the drawing on the front of the card). Then on the inside left, your new address as of OO/OO/OOOO. I guess in my mind, the people who will care that you have moved will likely know that anyway. Otherwise, it seems a little odd to make a point of mentioning that you have a new home. If you were doing a housewarming party at the holidays, and this were an invitation to that, perhaps it would be another story. You have to show us the drawing when it is done. Is the artist going to do some kind of wreath or other holiday item on the card version of the drawing? Congrats on your new home.

I think we can safely blame(or actually thank) the fall weather for Carding Mill’s giant globe. Many of my blooms are looking different from the norm right now. Below is one of my potted Cream Verandas. It’s normally very peach or cream for me. I just looked at it, and it’s WAY pinker than what I usually get. I like it. It’s just about dark, so I hope you can still see the colors. I know Yves Paignet always has large frilly blooms, but mine are WAY larger than normal. These things are HUGE! I hope Carding Mill will give me a few more of those incredible globes before the spring flush. Lisa

Ideas for a fun way to send Gift Cards as a Housewarming Gift

Yah, I have given wallets that i filled with gift cards too-- not sure what i would use for a housewarming gift. I did find some inexpensive new home journals/maintenance record books.. most of the info I'd expect them to keep online/on the cloud.. but really, I am only looking for a vehicle for gift cars so it could work for the purpose. Same with a photo album-- they're all fully online/cloud. Will keep looking for popup cards and for books/photo albums. (along with baby gifts-- we'll soon have a virtual baby shower for nephew and his wife!) Thanks all!
