Poster Putty on my jeans

I was using some poster putty and some fell on the floor. I couldn't find it because I ended up kneeling into it with my jeans. Any suggestions on how I can get it out/off my jeans? I was thinking about putting my jeans in the freezer and trying to scrape it off. Thanks!

    Hairspray and white vinegar.
    Spray with the hairspray generously, let dry.
    After it dries, scrub at it with a toothbrush dipped in white vinegar.

    I hope it works!

    Goof Off or "Graffiti Remover" should work also.
