Need to clean my house this weekend, feeling lazy, inspire me!!

No particular reason I'm wasting space in cyberspace posting this message other than the fact that I really need to be cleaning my house this weekend and I'm not feeling particularly motivated. We're having company tomorrow afternoon, not super important company, but it's more that this is the first weekend in a while we don't have much planned/on the to-do list and if I don't keep up with house cleaning at least a little it will build up to an irredeemably dirty situation.

Oh goodness. It is hard to try to inspire someone, when I am so uninspired.

Just tidy up some for your company. Do a quick vacuum of the places they will be in. Do keep your kitchen nice and clean looking - that is always impressive to company after you have been cooking for them.

That's it. My inspiration is gone.

Motivation comes from within. You know the facts and what to do. Never filthy, but clean. Guests enjoy the company, and neatly arranged clutter. Spotless living/entertaining is not my style.

Clean the rooms they will be in. The bathroom for sure. Close the bedroom doors. Keep them closed. Run the vacuum cleaner around the rooms they will be in.. Dust the furniture. dim the lights. Light some candles and make sure the kitchen is neat. Don't leave any stacks of paper anywhere, Make sure the trash is out of the house. Have fun your company is coming to see you not your house.
