I have greyish beige carpet and had a rubber doormat laying over it by my back door for probably a year, took it off the other day and noticed a yellow tinge to the carpet underneath, the exact size and shape of the mat that was over it.. any tips/tricks to getting it out? i have already done a couple swipes over it with the carpet shampooer and no change. This is a rental and I'm moving out in a couple weeks. Hoping there is something I can do about it so I don't get charged for all new carpet.
