I have a 30 yr old maple bedroom set, still in great condition, however, dirty from cigarette smoke, how best to clean?

Perhaps the following will help:

Remember, smoke penetrates the wood and many times the nicotine stain/odor cannot be removed.

One time I bought a used bedroom set and could not get the nicotine odor out of it and finally gave it to a smoker.
