Cleaning rocker/slider cushions

Hello! I need some advice. We were given as a gift a rocker/slider with beige cushions. I'd like to clean them, since they're spotted and dirty, but I don't know how. Should I just throw them in the washer and then the dryer?? Or is there any other way to clean them?

What kind of cushions? What is the fabric and stuffing? Do they have trim that wouldn't be safe in the washer?
And what is a 'rocker slider?"
