Spilled soad in tile grout

Posted by majax79 (My Page) on

Some cans of soda fell out of my fridge and stained my tile grout a dark color. I'm only renting my place so I wondered if there's anything I can use to remove the stain?

I tried just soap, water, and a sponge but the actual grout itself was coming up. Guess I was scrubbing to hard.

What color is the grout (when it's clean and dry) and what type of tile do you have (ceramic, marble, travertine, etc.)?

Grout should not be removed when you clean it... especially if you're only using a sponge. How much was removed???
