cleaning cork floors

I have a brand new cork floor in my kitchen, which is wonderful underfoot, but I'm not sure how to clean it. I am tempted to try the Swiffer WetJet Wood, though I hear that some people say it leaves a matt finish. Do you have a cork floor? If so, how do you clean it?

I'd really appreciate any tips, as for the time being I'm cooking everything that might spatter outside on the side burner of the grill.

I have Marmoleum, which is a cork floor. I maintain it with a Swiffer WetJet, and mop up any spills as they occur. Yes the standard Swiffer cleaning solutions do tend to dull the shine, but it's easily restored by using Bona floor products, specifically the Floor Cleaner and the Stone,Tile,Laminate Floor Finish. I really don't mind the matte look, as long as it's clean I'm happy. My floor has been in for about 5 years.

I use a steam mop on mine. I also wipe up spills immediately. I've had my floor in for about 6 years.

Jannie, I don't think that there is any cork in Marmoleum.

Marmoleum is a "green" flooring without cork. See the link below for details.

Here is a link that might be useful: What is Marmoleum?
