There are couple of ink starins on my new carpet. I tried regular strain remover which removes food /coke starins well. But it doesn't work well for ink.It looks like the ink spread all the way bottom of the carpet. The strains are in the family room looks ugly. Please help me to clean this stuff.

Get a piece of remnant and ink it up. Then try lemon juice, 409, or whatever other cleaners you might have on hand.

capture instant spot remover worked on the ink from printer cartridges that got on our carpet. also try folex spot eliminator. once you have applied the product blot in a circular motion don't rub.
both of these products worked wonders on our ink stains.

Thanks for your advise. I haven't tried with lemon juice. I try it today.

I forgot to mention in my original post. The strain is Ballpoint pen ink. Is there any starin remover available in market to remove ballpoint pen ink strians.

Thanks

A clean cloth that's been wetted down with plain rubbing alcohol works wonders. The method is very important though.. DO NOT RUB! Take the cloth and dab the spot, then move to a clean spot on your cloth and dab again. Continue this and change cloths as often as you need to. You don't want to spread the ink by rubbing the clean part of the carpet with your dirty cloth. Once most of the ink is off of the carpet fibers, you can actually pour a bit of alcohol right on the spot to try to get into the bottom of the carpet. Continue dabbing and using fresh areas of your cleaning cloth.

Try Folex, it's the BOMB~myfask agrees! If it can get out red wine, lipstick, and strawberry margarita stains, it can remove ANYTHING! (from when DD used to live with me!)

Also great for pet STAINS, but not the odor. ;o)
