Charlie's Soap concern

Posted by n2cookin (My Page) on

I am a new user of Charlie's soap (liquid). I use about 1/8 cup in my front loader on DH's dirty work clothes; however, they don't seem to come out free of odors (mostly the sweat smell). I know years of using commercial laundry detergents with strong fragrances have spoiled me, but at least it covered up the sweaty smells. Should I add white vinegar to the rinse for fresher smelling clothes? Any suggestions?

RE: Charlie's Soap concern

I'd suggest calling or e-mailing Charlie's Soap for their suggestions. You may need something as simple as 2-scoops of Charlie's Soap for extra dirty clothing (especially if you have hard water), or an addition of one of these products - Oxy-Clean, TSP, borax or washing soda.
