| We just moved to Utah from Washington state. I have never had a problem with dingy whites, but after the first washing of our whites, they are grey. Any suggestions for getting them white again, keeping them white, and what might have caused the effects?

| Washington has very soft water. You've probably moved to an area with hard water. The minerals in the water will contribute to dull clothes, especially whites. Check into water softeners - if you are on well water you will notice a difference, due to the unfiltered minerals in the water. Meanwhile, use Oxyclean in your washing machine. It will help. |
