The other day while trying to adjust lawn sprinkler heads I got black Clark sandals soaking wet. Did not realize until the next day the original shoe dye ran off and left a black outlined footprint on the light colored carpet.

Warm full strength vinegar removed the dye outline footprint with exception of a couple small spots that needs a repeat.

Amazing how powerful vinegar is!!
