how do I keep the dog smell down in the vac filter? I replace about every 6 months due to the $25.00 price. Replacing it more often on a $1,000.00 income isn't an options. Help please

RE: dog odor in vac filter

Put a drier sheet over the filter. It is porous enough not to impede the suction and will leave a fresh smell. When you change your bag sprinkle a little baking soda in the bottom of the new bag. It will neutralize the odor
