Cleaning Orientals -- Pads, too?

My wool, hand-knotted orientals need cleaning. (Modern, not antique.) The composite pads under them seem gritty too. Can they be cleaned?

Any idea of costs? Is there a 'bargain' time of year to have this done?

I have one high pile 8 X 10 -- and five low pile: Rugs
12 X 18, 8' 8" X 11' 6" and 6 X 9, and Runners 30" X 8 and 30" X 10. No stains, just all-over daily use dirt.

I live north of Chicago, if that helps with estimates.
