Sister got some brown hair dye on the wall in the bathroom and on the baseboard. The wall is like white with tan speckles. We tried bleach, softscrub, comet, 409, nail polish remover and magic earser nothing. Now die to the bleach there is about a 2-4 inch area that is bleached so it made the wood light, well the rest of it is a maple color. Any other ideas. We are going to call maintenice tomrrow and ask them any ideas.

Try vinegar, rubbing alcohol, or ammonia, separately.

I splashed brown hair dye on my white enamel waste basket. Sprayed with hair spray,it got the stains off. I think aerosol hair spray contains alcohol. Good luck!

If you have a Sally's Beauty Supply near you I think they still carry a hair dye remover. Usually very friendly people work there, willing to answer questions for you. S
