 o
wax on bricks

Posted by oldalgebra (My Page) on

Last month we had a party and I set out several pillar candles. The next day I left them out and in 100-plus degrees, they melted. Some melted on my brick patio and the wax is in the pours of the bricks.
Can anyone suggest a way to loosen/disolve the wax and remove it?

I suspect you will have to burn it out....how about an acetylene torch? Then use a strong soap and brush abd a hose to remove the resulting black soot.

Linda,

God love ya! It worked like a charm. I'm now the proud owner of a little hand-held propane torch, a half bottle of C Calcium, a used wire brush, and 2 extra pairs of rubber gloves, I'm ready for anything. Bring it on!

Thanks, Denise C.
