I just happen to try this out today. Just bought a new squeegie for the shower, had it sitting on the counter (until I could take it upstairs) while I was cleaning up. I soaped up the counter, and spotted the squeegie...a couple of swipes later, I had a soap free, DRY countertop. I can't believe i never tried this before. Normally it takes me many wipes and rinses to get all the soap off. Hope this works for you too.
