Smoking Smelling Oven

A few months ago I paid a professional to clean my house. For some reason, they cleaned the self-cleaning oven. I'm not sure exactly what they used but I believe it was a combination of stainless steel cleaner (the greasy kind from an aerosol-type can) and glass cooktop cleaner (creamy white with a little bit of grit).

Afterward when I turned on the oven it smoked and smelled like chemicals, a lot. I tried the following but the oven still smokes and smells like chemicals:
- Cleaned with water
- Left on for hours at a high temperature
- Cleaned with vinegar and water
- Left on for hours again

Now it still smells when I try to use it and I'm not sure what to do. The manufacturer has no suggestions. I'm afraid to try self-clean because I'm not sure what would happen since there are chemicals on the walls of the oven. I'm also afraid to clean it with another product since products can damage a self-cleaning oven.

I'd be very grateful for any advice! Thank you!
