My bet is that the ring is there to stay if you used a water-based cleaner.

If you used water on Rayon the fabric cannot be brought back to life. Hope the spot is in a location where a pillow can be put over it.

I have a few spots that cat up chucked on and wasn't cleaned up real soon, I think the stomach acid took the color out! Is rather cheap light gray carpet and changed to a light, bleached looking pinkish color. I have tried everything to clean it but really the color was altered.
