Caring for Mexican Tile foors

We just had our Mexican tile floor stripped and resealed. Now I need to find the best way to clean and maintain them so we don't have to go through this again for a long time! If you could share any suggestions or experiences it would be much appreciated.

We have moved but my church in California had them, they were just beautiful. They kept them vacuumed of course, and then once a year they cleaned them by hand with some kind of paste. I'm sorry I do not know the name of it but it was an off white, they just put it on and buffed it off with a soft cloth.
