cleaning outdoor carpet

We have outdoor carpet on out screened in back porch. it is like very short knap "astroturf"-like.

Last week I sat a half full watering can on it, and the water leaked out on to the carpet. I sat some fans on the carpet and dried it. However it left a dark area on the carpet. I just wonder if there is a way to get that dark area out of the carpet?
