This may apply to other homes but our mcm has beams and transom window sills, full wall size, regular height window sills that probably require more dusting than any other house I've lived in. I found a duster by OXO at BB&B that can adjust the angle of the microfiber duster to go along the top top of beams and high and low window sills. it seems to allow direct access to the areas better than other dusters I've used. And, it comes with a machine washable head (bonus!). Now to find a good tool and process to keep all of the windows clean... that is a challenge.
