I have a Dyson Animal that is 1 1/2 years old. Yesterday when I went to turn it on it wouldnt do anything. After calling Dyson, I found that I have to ship it off to New York or somewhere to get it fixed. I was so upset I hung up before getting the info for shipping. If I knew I couldnt have the thing fixed locally I would have never bought it. Nice site by the way, I found it doing a google search for fellow dyson owners

I've had mine serviced through my sears extended warantee. I took it to a local repair shop. Perhaps call sears and see if they have a shop they use in your area?

As it turns out, Sears doesnt do the work locally either, they ship it off just like I would. Thanks for the tip anyways though.
