Recommended cleaning for glass top stoves

| Help! I bought a black glass cook top. I drive myself crazy keeping it clean. I noticed after using stainless steel it leaves a silver rim on the burner. Eventually it goes away but I do not know the cause. any suggestons for a great cleaner that is not real expensive? where can I buy it from? |

| We use Weiman Glass Cook Top Cleaner; it does a super job. Comes in a 15 oz white plastic bottle. Don't recall the price, but we got it at WalMart. Good luck! |

| Cerama Bryte which I bought at Home Depot did a great job cleaning the black glass cooktop that was here when we bought the house. I thought I'd never be able to get it clean (the previous owners didn't have the word "clean" in their vocabulary) but the Cerama Bryte got the cooktop looking like new after about six cleanings. Now I use it weekly, or more often, and am very pleased. I got it at Home Depot, 28oz. for about $7, but have used it for a year and still have about 2/3 of a bottle left. |

| I have a new black cook top and use my Lotus with a microfiber cloth. It came with Cerama Bryte, but I haven't had to use it. It's an induction cooktop, so that may help with cleaning. Microfiber cloths are magic! |

| Good. thanks for the kinds of cleaners. I am blind and don't know if the ring is left on the stove but I will tell you that my landlord and friend says when she gets a spill or ring on her glass top stove she uses toothpaste and the ring or stain disappears. She says she just uses a little of the toothpaste and you don't have to scrub very hard. |
