spilled gasoline

I lurk here as lot - but this time I really have to ask! I've searched all over GW and can't find an answer. Today I was filling up my car and the nozzle splashed. Gasoline all over my clothes. I know enough not to put it in the dryer after it's washed, but what do I do about washing out the smell? I really hate the smell of gasoline. My old and dear jean jacket is now in a plastic bag outside the door, waiting for your wisdom.......batya

Wash it.
If you dont want to use the dryer hang it on a plastic hanger somewhere to dry.

RE: spilled gasoline

Fresah air and sunshine are the only solutions I would use on this. Hang it outdoors on a sunny breezy day.
