Brass Candlesticks (how to clean?)

Posted by shazzjazz (My Page) on

I have an old pair of brass candlesticks I'd like to clean. They're fairly light so definitely not solid & are dull & stained.

I'd like to clean them up to see their potential. Any suggestions on what to use?

When I had brass I used brass cleaner, and it was a never ending battle to keep nice. I finally put it all in a garage sale.

- wash it with vinegar or lemon with some salt in it and than rub it with lint-free cloth.

Hey Jamesharrison:

I used your brass cleaning recipe today & VERY pleased with the results.
