The best way to keep your granite counter tops looking good is to perform your granite counter top cleaning after each use. Wipe down the counters with a non-abrasive sponge or damp rag after each use.If the counter tops are sticky, spray the granite with a neutral PH granite cleaner after the initial wipe down. (NOTE: Always test your granite cleaner in a small inconspicuous area prior to use on the entire surface to determine if the product is suitable. After cleaning the granite counter tops, dry with a soft, clean rag.

Sounds like the join or seam has let go. It will need to be cleaned, reglued and reset using a special seam setter.

If it looks like above, the seam is not bonding and need repair.
