hard water stains on granite

Does anyone have any solutions to clean hard water buildup from granite counters? I have some built up around my faucets, and am not sure how to remove it without damaging the granite. Thanks.

A razor blade held at an angle will scrape the buildup off without damaging the granite. To prevent further buildup, you can periodically wipe the area with vegetable oil or beeswax (if these will not stain your granite)
