Upright vacuums-Sebo vs Miele

I'm in the market for a new vacuum as our Dyson is not cutting it. I have narrowed it down to Sebo X4 vs Miele S7 or possibly a Cirrus. My needs are:
1. Be able to pick up dog hair like a champ
2. Have decent attachments to use on stairs and relatively easy to haul up and down (ruled out Kirby for this reason)
3. Also, down the road, we may build a ranch home with less stairs but more hard floors so it would be nice if it worked well on hard surfaces too, not to mention ceramic tile that we have in our bathrooms currently.

I'm leaning either Sebo or Miele but one vacuum retailer leans toward Cirrus. Which do you think is best for pets, which ones do you like the best? Thanks!

RE: Upright vacuums-Sebo vs Miele

The Miele will clean very well, run quiet and have great filtration but with it's two motors it will be heavy.

The Sebo will be very easy to maintain with the easy access to remove clogs and access the roller for pet hair removal as well as being very dependable.

Cirrus is a lesser brand.
