Oxy cleaners for mildew on siding?

My vinyl siding was power washed last fall and already there is some mildew coming back. I need to spray something on it. All I have ever heard says that chlorox is needed to kill mildew. I see that there are now oxy cleaners being sold for mildew. As that would be less toxic I would like to use an oxy cleaner. Is there any hope that it would be effective?

I use oxyclean to clean our vinyl siding and it works really very well...

Bleach is toxic to plants and critters, so I tend to want to stay away from it..
