| I want to make my own cleaning wipes but I do not want to use paper towels. Is the material that the store bought wipes use available? I have no clue what the material is.

| I use my husband's old T shirts, torn into rags. But they must be 100% cotton. No polyester as that fabric is treated to make it water repellant. I also use raggy towels and washcloths as cleaning/drying cloths. I have given up using paper towels. |

| Use coffee filters. They won't shread and also have a good polishing factor without being too abrasive. The best deals are at restaurant supply stores or wholesale clubs. |

| Da nada. If you can find one of those large plastic coffee cans empty, they are perfect for storing the treated stack of filters for cleaning. The snap on lid keeps 'em moist and the opening is large enough to get a hand in to pinch one from the stack. BTW, what are you planning on using for the cleaning agent? I have my own pre-treated disposable wipes with different solutions for different cleaning jobs. Just curious what you are using. I like to learn new stuff. I make my own cleaners because they are both safer and more economical. *Win/Win* |

| I keep my coffee filters in a pretty basket right next to my elec. coffee maker. Handy for scrubbing,too. |
