food coloring stain in white olefin carpet

My darling toddler spilled blue food coloring on our largely olefin white berber carpet. I've tried everything I could think - I had carpet cleaners come the next day, no help; bleach, vinegar, Oxyclean. Nothing seems to budge it! We're heartbroken because it's reasonably new carpet and we're (of course) a month away from putting our house on the market. He sprinkled it in a line from the entry door to the bathroom, so we can't just put a plant on it! Any new ideas would be helpful.

Olefin should not hold a stain....."they say"...
Have you tried water and blotting until the cloth you use to blot with shows no color? if you wet the stain with water and blot with a paper towel and the towel shows some staining....then you are removing some stain..if so repeat until it's all gone.
And there's always the option of hiring a carpet installet to cut a piece from a closet and replace the stained portion.

RIT sells a dye remover that will take out even food coloring (odd that the stuff stains worse than some real dyes, isn't it?)
