Hello, I'm new to this forum. I did a search but didn't get any relevant info.

How do I clean wood blinds? Furniture polish? Thanks.

RE: Cleaning Wood Blinds

The first thing I like to do when I clean my wood blinds is vacuum them. This removes large particles and sucks them into the bag/hepa filter. Then I use water with some vinegar (about 9 parts water to 1 part vinegar). I use a cloth towel and ring as much water out as I can so that the towel is only damp. I run the cloth towel over the upper and lower part of the slats. It takes a little time but I think it is worth it.

Also, I vacuum them each week, but I don't use the water/vinegar on them about every 3-4 months.
