silk comforter cleaning

I purchased 2 silk conforters in China 2 years ago, and I absolutely love the light weight and the cooling/heating ability of them. I paid a small fortune for them and do not want to ruin them so am looking for a viable solution to cleaning them. My dog threw up on the bed of course it soiled the silk comforter. I have tried to spot remove but there is still an outline plus the comforter itself is becoming soiled. I removed the outer duvet as it made it impossible to keep on the bed, kept sliding off. Any suggestions that have worked would be very helpful.

Take it to a professional dry-cleaner.
