Would you please post a picture about the silk beddings ? Basically, the silk sheet and silk duvet can be regular washed. Because if they're pure mulberry silk. There won't be any problem.. The comforter doesn't need washing.

If I understand the post correctly, the duvet was not on the comforter when the dog threw up and the comforter itself was soiled.

Depending on what the filling is for the comforter, it may be washable. Check the tags if they are still on the comforter for proper cleaning.

I bought a couple of silk filled comforters in China and I was told they were not washable/cleanable. My sister bought one at Costco and their big sales pitch was that these were cleanable as others are not. I think you may not be able to clean.
