I had an Electrolux with a power head I loved too, but the hose got hopelessly blocked and was no longer repairable. That was about 20 years ago.Since then I've had several vacs, Bissell, Hoover Windtunnel(hated it the most)and other brands I can't remember. None of them worked as well as my old Electrolux, which was bought second-hand. I'm thinking of another Electrolux, alho they are now called Aerus and Consumer reports doesn't rate them very highly. I never heard of Budd. Let us know what you do buy.
