I got one at a store that was closing so it was a bit cheaper. As with everything seen on an infomercial, it isn't perfect. But, if you use it on wood or tile, I find that it is pretty nice. I can just plug it in and start mopping. The heat and steam takes off pretty much everything without too much work or chemicals. When done I toss the cloth in the washer.

I tried it on a couple carpet stains and found if I use a spot treatment first it did take the stains out. I think the same thing woulod have happend if I just used a rag and the spot threatment though.

I too am in the market for a steam mop but have been putting off the purchase due to bad reviews. They all seem to have lovers and haters...This will be a big purchase for me so I'd really like some recommendations. I have an in-home day care and would love the cleaning benefits a steamer can offer. Thanks!
