Cleaning counter-top water heater

The directions to clean my small counter-top water heater say to use a descaler or citric acid. I assume the descaler would be one of those products to clean a coffee pot. Would citric acid be lemon juice? Could I just get a large bottle of lemon juice?

Hi socks,

Yes, lemon juice has citric acid. You might also check with a hardware store to determine if citric acid is sold as a product, as are the coffee pot descalers. Could well cost more than lemon juice, though.
