I'm looking for a hobby glaze and hoping someone can help me?
I'm painting designs onto vintage ceramic cups with ceramic pens (they are baked in my home oven to set the paint). The pens are commercial hobby pens, which are dishwasher safe, but the designs are starting to scratch off after going through my dishwasher for a month or so. To give the designs more longevity, I want to find a glaze or seal which I can apply after I have baked and set the pen designs into the cups. It needs to be a product which I can apply at home (I.e doesn't need a kiln).
Does anyone know of a hobby glaze / seal I can buy? And if so, is it dishwasher safe?
