Hello,

I'd really appreciate any help with this. I was in a store today looking at halloween stuff with my nephews. There were some skeleton head candle holders made out of ceramic- they had an open top, textured skeleton "face", and were painted and glazed.

My nephews love arts and crafts and they asked me if we could make something like this with our own face designs. I said I'd look into it and see what I could find out.

Is this a difficult process? I'm not looking to start up a pottery factory, but could I bring, say, a mold of a design to a potter and have them form it and glaze it?
