| I am an Australian living in a terracotta pottery craft village in tribal Orissa India ( www.chandoorisai.com )and would like to experiment with ceramic pottery as a new direction for the village potters unfortunately I know nothing on the subject and also what, where and how to obtain the colours and oxides used for the process in this part of the world. It's not like one can just ring up the local potter supply shop so I will be starting from scratch. Hi tech (electric or gas fired kilns) methods are not suitable for this area and lo tech methods would be appreciated. Leon |
