I am so pleased with my recent Donna Kato video purchase- her Potpourri of Techniques video. She demonstrates Mokume Gane, Crushed Ikat, Marbled Paper Effect, Kaleidoscope Cane, and Translucent Jellyroll Cane.
I have always liked watching Donna on Carol Duvall & enjoyed meeting her once while she was doing a Faux Malachite demo at the SCD conference one year. She has a very nice way of presenting her demos and never seems to rush or skip over the little tips that make a successful project.
When you consider you get 5 "private lessons" for about $4 each, this seems like a bargain to me!
I would give this 2 thumbs up to anyone who is considering a video of beginner techniques. |
