Porcelain Enamel Changing Color When Heated?

| I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but I will give it a try. I was just wondering why porcelain coated cast iron cookware changes color when heated. My Flame colored Le Creuset pot turns a deep brick red when heated on the range. I really would love to know why. Seems very odd! |
