How high a temp can I use to bake a clay covered plywood box?

| Hi all. I have a little box, about 3 x 3 inches, presumably plywood. I want to cover most of it with polymer clay and then vintage buttons. I've tested and know buttons can withstand high baking temperatures. But I don't know if the box can? I think the polymer clay is supposed to be baked at around 275 for around 20 minutes. Does anyone know if the box will survive or burn?
Alternatively, does anyone know a lower temperature I can use that won't burn the box but will bake the clay? Thanks. |

| Considering that paper burns at 450 degrees farenheit, it's safe to say your box will be fine. |
