Clay Sun Switchplates

Made three of these today and had a great time......much more fun than painting......

Those are very nice! I like sun faces a lot. What is that in the background? Is that what you've been painting? I like the finish.

That's my "wall of defiance"......it was brick, I have applied sheetrock mud, base coated, and glazed. Still have to go back and do some antiquing on it.

Rosie, Those look great. I'm wondering did you use a non firing sort of clay? Everyone I know has had trouble estimating shrinkage on clay for things like switchplates.
