Before you use your sewing buttons...

For you newbies; this is what I made with Sculpey III last year. I embedded the buttons and charms into the sculpey before baking. These are rough, but you can take sandpaper & file down the edges after they're baked. These are great embellishments for cards & stuff.

Taunia, they're beautiful!! I've only made a very few buttons and been in the mood to do more. I've been wondering about a way to use them on clothes so they can be washed or else easily removed...

These look great.....good way to keep the shape of a pretty button too. Would look good in an antique type collage.
