Christmas & Winter Porch is done! (pic heavy)

Yesterday I worked on the porch decor & enjoyed getting it done for Christmas & the Winter season...here's the woodland tree I've had for many yrs all lit up last night:

And a closer view of that ice skating rink during the day:

The rink is a galvanized tub, pc of plexiglass cut in a circle with blue cellophane wrap taped on the underside ...a string of lights in the bottom ...that plug in through a hole drilled in side of the tub. These "fishermen" just make me smile:

Isn't this a cool 'woodland' like ornament ...I got a couple of these on 'clearance' last yr:

I tweaked the Hoosier cabinet a little ...took away a tree & added this sleigh instead:

Accumulated 'snow people' from thru-the-years ...on a makeshift end table (wicker basket w/green pottery platter w/faux snow:

Aren't they just the cutest? I think I'll end here as I don't want to overload w/Photobkt. TFLookin'! Jeanne

A prayer for 'peace' tonight ... & hugs to those who need strength to get thru the days ahead in Newtown, CT.

Oh & I found this brass sleigh & reindeer I found this summer @garage sale...so I added it to the 'Old World Santa window' vignette:

Last mo I found this wonderful 'basket' cone tree @TJMaxx & had to bring it home ...it will have a display by itself somewhere later ...but right now I added it behind the Woodland Santa vignette on the porch:

Love how you decorate your porch Jeanne.
It has such a charming old world feel,
and you can enjoy it long after Christmas.
I can't pick a favorite. It is all wonderful.

Love your porch and all your decorations. It gives such a warm cozy feeling seeing it all. I remember your tub skating rink, what a clever idea. New brass decos really neat too. Looks like you are ready to enjoy winter and the holidays. Luvs

Everything looks wonderful, Jeanne. Your wooden sleigh with the woven sides is awesome! Love your woven cone tree too -- it's perfect with the Woodland Santa! TFS!
