Are C9 LED lights safe for an artifical indoor Christmas tree?

Hello,

We have an artificial pre-lit Christmas tree. It is prelit with small lights and I decided to add some larger lights for a bit of contrast. I bought C9 LED string lights but now they are on the tree I am concerned they might be a fire hazard. The box said indoor/outdoor use on them. Can anyone advise if these are safe? I have tried calling both Target and Home Depot who sells similar ones and have been on hold for quite a while with no one picking up. Thanks so much in advance!

LED lights are very safe indoors. You will notice the one thing about leds, is that led lights never get hot. Enjoy.
