Oh my goodness I am ready to throw these lights out the door. i am having the worse time with this task. Have you ever seen a tree (7 1/2 foot) decorated without the lights? Just about ready to try it myself. But then if I do and it looks bad I will be just have to start all over and then I will be no better off! GRRRR

RE: Putting lights on a Tree

Mary, I'm so sorry to hear your lights are not being nice this year. I have had issues with lights in the past and it's no fun at all. I think your on the right path tho. It's best not to decorate w/o lights.

I use a timer so we can enjoy having the tree lit in the mornings and evenings. This year our DF gave us a gold Pom Pom Christmas Tree. It doesn't light up so I have a few small ones out to help.

Let us know how the battle ends for you.
