Our Beautiful View This Morning

phonegirl

Just had to share. It's -7 this morning but the sun has appeared. This is the view from our kitchen, dining room and living room. As you can see, we have no snow cover left. Hard to believe it's really that cold when this kind of beauty is showing isn't it?

At least it didn't get down to -25 like they predicted. Stay warm and safe. Punk

LOL SW! We live in Montana(our heaven for now) and love our mountain views. Any time we go on vacation and top the hill and see these mountains again, we know why we live here.

What a beautiful view! Tho I'm not sure about those temps :o). I'd have to become a bear and not come out during the winter.

    Karen, there's time I wish I was a bear so I
could hibernate for sure. I'd rather have the
cold than fog. We do have alot of beautiful
    days too.

Jeanne, maybe I'm an angel cause it makes
me want to sing every day it's cold and the
sun comes out.LOL It really does help.
PM, I was born in WY and moved to MT when I
was a first grader. No snow here yet. It's suppose
to warm up and hit here mid week. How much
    snow do you have?

F2BH, glad you got to see this.

Phoggie, that's how I see it too. Let us be Thankful.

So glad all of you enjoyed the picture. Not like me
share something like this but I'm grateful for the sun
every day it comes out. Funny what the sun does
    for one's soul.

Punk, I'm from NY and have been up and down the east coast many times, but I have never been to anyplace in the US that's west of the Mississippi River. I would LOVE to see the mountains, rivers, and canyons in the northwest and southwest. Maybe sometime soon...

Lucky me.... I live in what's called the 'lake effect' area of the state. It's a narrow diagonal line where the cold winds from the northwest come across the Great Lakes and dump unbelievable amounts of snow on us.... places just a few miles away will get no snow at all. We got about 8" of snow yesterday. It's pretty, but it quickly gets tiring to always have to clean off your car and shovel or run the snowblower. :p
