I am looking for a hot chocolate poem or something to go with a gift my son is giving to his classmates(Gr. 2). I got a Christmasy Styrofoam cup and am putting a pack of hot chocolate, a candy cane, maybe a few small marshmallows and chocolate candy in it or a cookie, then I'll wrap it with plastic wrap and tie it and put a poem on.BUT I need a suitable poem! I would appreciate any idea's you have or poems!Thank you.

How about snowman soup?

Assemble in a gift bag or small zipper food storage

1 individual pack hot chocolate mix
3 Hershey's chocolate kisses
10-15 mini-marshmallows
1 small candy cane

Attach the following poem:

Was told you've been real good this year.
Always glad to hear it!
With freezing weather drawing near,
You'll need to warm the spirit.

So here's a little Snowman Soup
Complete with stirring stick.
Add hot water, sip it slow.
It's sure to do the trick!

Here are some hot chocoalate poems.

Cocoa Poem

A little cup of cocoa,
I'm sending your way,
For you to sip and enjoy,
On some cold lonely day.

As you sip this cocoa,
It's warmth will warm your heart.
Just like our friendship warmed mine,
Right from the very start.

Holiday Cheer (a cocoa poem)

by Shirley Thomas @
Mix with water as a start,
Then add love from the heart.
Plop in a great big hug,
Let it overflow the mug.

Sprinkle in thoughtfulness.
Add goodness and kindness.
Fold in peace and generosity,
And mix with joy and charity.
Now whip it up with fun,
And serve to everyone.
May this holiday cheer,
Bring happiness all year!

And here are more Snownam soup poems.

When it's so cold that
you holler and whoop,
It's time to bring out
the Snowman Soup!

Pour the packet in a mug.
Add marshmallows too.
And throw in these kisses
that are special just for you.

Now add some hot water
and use the cane to stir it.
Sip slowly and soon you'll
feel the warm winter spirit!

When the weather outside is frightful,
Snowman Soup can be delightful.
May it warm your spirit and your soul.
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!

When you feel a chill or 'burrrrrr',
Use the peppermint stick to stir.
Add hot water and sip it slow.
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow.

Hot Chocolate

There is nothing better on a cold winter day
Than a cup of hot chocolate and a snuggly blanket wrapped around you
The tiny marshmellow floating and melting away in the sea of cocoa
Dont you feel the warm winter spirit?
Your cup hot in your numb hands warming your spirit to get up and play
The hot chocolates marshmellows stick to my red nose
Its sure to do the trick
Just add the chocolate mix in the mug
Pour in some hot water
Plop plop plop as you add the marshmellows
Stir it around and be careful its hot
It will warm your heart
